Garden State

Clarence | Movies, Xanga | Thursday, August 19th, 2004

Garden State was a great f*cking movie. ‘Nuff said.

Damn. Zach Braff is my freaking hero. Not only did he star in the movie, he wrote it and directed it. He’s also got great taste in music. Yes, he was also the executive producer of the soundtrack. I liked it so much, that I bought the soundtrack. You know I never buy cds. That’s how good it is.

Oh yes, where is my Sam? I want a Sam.

Other highlights of the day:
- Saigon Grill. Great food, great portions, great price.
- 1MX shirts are $20 again at Express. Got the ill purple shirt.
- Found the best asian store on Broadway. It was the uber sexy.
- Met up with Debbie to see the movie.
- Carmine’s calamari. HWAT!
- The transvestite wonder woman who drove the octopus bike.

My (shared with Al) quote for life:
“Good luck exploring the infinite abyss!”

Clarence | Movies, Xanga | Monday, May 6th, 2002

well, it seems everybody on xanga has an entry extolling the movie: spiderman. so here’s mine:

gotta say, the movie was pretty damn good. the completely cg spiderman was kinda weird, but there were times when you didn’t really notice. there were some really sick fighting scenes, where you’re just like =O “oh shooooot!” (which we did). thought the green goblin looked kinda retarded, but whatever, Willem Dafoe was a madd good actor, esp. during the “insane” scenes. toby macguire played the dorky teenager pretty well, and i don’t understand why he has so many adoring female fans. come on, he isn’t that cute. :-P kirsten dunst, i think, wasn’t that good, and she def needs blonde hair. only redeeming scene was the scene in the rain with the wet t-shirt ;-) didn’t really like the guy who played harry osborn, pretty bad actor…

gotta say, probably the best parts of the movie were the interactions between peter parker and mary jane watson. i dun wanna spoil anything, but peter’s macking sucks hardcore and it hurt to watch (which made it interesting since he’s such a dork, lol) except for one part (which i gotta memorize, recycle, and use). the last part completely blew us away, and left us screaming in the theater. gosh. damn you peter parker.

alrite, thats it… i recommend u see it, its madd good.
