Spring Conference ‘05

Clarence | Church, My Life, Xanga | Monday, March 28th, 2005

So instead of the traditional recap of the conference, I’ve decided to write a little note to a couple of people. Weeeeee!!!

To ML: My little bro, my sidekick, etc–gonna miss you man. We had some good times this conference: terrorizing jib lanes, silent robots, walks around the block, etc. Hope you can make it up here for graduation. Love you buddy.
To AC: Wtf do you mean I’m acting funny. Stop the lies. You know I heart you. I was a little sad we couldn’t hang out more during the break/conf but we’ll def make it up. At least we got to spread a little gossip eh? Haha, jaykay.
To NC: You need to stop hating me and giving me dirty looks. Sorry for making you watch 10 minutes of a silent robots. But I’m not sorry for the burps in the ear and the fart in the elevator. Those were fun. Thanks for the Coldstone. + laces look better when they’re crossed. :P
To AY: You’re a pretty funny little girl. You rock. Too bad you couldn’t make it to sushi but hanging out with you during the conf was super fun. Just make sure you eat more or I’ll have to tell your mom you know what…
To JS: MIA during (most of) the conference! But it’s ok, you had more pressing business to attend to. Glad you made it to BBT (and didn’t get into too much trouble). Thanks for looking for me this morning, I would’ve missed saying goodbye to you.
To (the other) NC: Where were you all week? Buying fake flowers? Sounds fun :P. Hope you do well on your test. It was good hanging out with you again. + your spinach dip was delish.
To MJ-J: Philosophical conversations in the car that which were completely over my head. I guess that’s why you are the philosophy major. Our pillow fight in the hotel basement was fun, even if we were caught on camera. HARHAR. Rollin’ with 6 girls to BBT wasn’t bad either.
To ES: You so owe me. And don’t worry, I’ll make sure you don’t get out of control. Don’t forget! I have his address!! PUAHAHAHA
To S: You are the copy+paste master. Never change. It’s facetious.
To (the cool) S: Your frog wallet rox0rz all. Props to you, fellow Naruto hearter.
To JL + JK: Thanks for the autographs guys. You’re gonna make me a millionaire one day. Woooo.
To CF: I am 101% sure you won’t read this, but just in case you do, I’m expecting that phone call super soon.
To the mystery pretty spanish girl: You are so pretty. And mysterious. Thanks for the smiles.

This entry is getting a little long. I hope I didn’t forget anybody too important. If I forgot you it’s probably just because I’m dumb. OK guys, see you in a coupla months. I <3 you all.

Peace, Love and the Body,
Clear Pants Rainheart

PS- JS, ES, and everyone else involved with the CD. I’ll be requiring your autographs. Forgot to get them from you over the weekend, but don’t think I’ll forget. kthxbye!

And so it begins… with an ending.

Clarence | Church, My Life, Photography, Xanga | Tuesday, August 24th, 2004

I’m trying to not start this off on a depressing note. But it must be said, the summer is over. That sucks the big swinging monkey balls. It really does. But mucho <3 to everyone who made the summer uber awesome. We really lived it up this summer and we ended it beyootifully. You know how we do.

I’ve pretty much given up on hiphop/rap this summer. It just doesn’t do it for me anymore. Well, except for tonedeff, qn5, cunninlynguists, etc. I just can’t handle mainstream rap anymore. Its too… dumb. (This is where all the flames begin. Bring it on bitches!) What’s good, on the other hand, are uber good bands such as Postal Service and the Shins. By the way, props to glow for catching the Such Great Heights reference in my sharing on Saturday night.

I miss you guys like the flowers miss the sun. And lovely_lime, chen0r, and r3no, I miss you most of all. Stop telling me you’re going through withdrawal. For I am doing the same. I love you guys.

So the coming school year is almost upon us. Sometime in the next week, I will drop over $500 on textbooks that I will barely read, I will attend classes that I will never stay awake in, and I will stay up much later that I should. But thats college for you. Whoopdef*ckindee. Lets hope I graduate this year.

Oh yes. Shaun of the Dead was awful. Don’t go see it. The trailer pretty much sums up the whole movie.

Another “oh yes,” gonna see Garden State on Wednesday again. Can’t waitt.

You Guys are the Best

Clarence | Church, My Life, Xanga | Friday, August 20th, 2004

I love everyone who showed up today: Mike, Yoyo, Morgan, Josh, Erica, Nancy, Nina, Pansum, Andree, Sara, and Christina. And some extra love to Al, DJ, and the rest of the Cabredo fam. You guys even made sure my parents had fun. You made my day, wait, scratch that, you guys made my f*cking life. :D I loved watching My Sassy Girl with everyone. The comments and the laughter made me die. Like really. Yes, this requires its own paragraph. Its friends like you that make me happy. Seeing how much you guys care about me and how you try to make me happy makes me want to cry. I’m really touched and I appreciate you guys like you wouldn’t believe. You guys made my summer the best ever. Thanks guys. I love you all. Al, thanks for cooking everything and throwing the best farewell party evaR. But of course, I won’t be gone for too long…

Amazing Day

Clarence | Church, My Life, Photography, Xanga | Thursday, August 22nd, 2002

Yesterday, Denise, Amy, Jack and I took Robert Koffie, a brother from Ghana, out on a pseudo-tour of the city. We took the Staten Island ferry as the ghetto way of viewing the Statue of Liberty:

Then we made our way to Southstreet Seaport where we did a little window shopping and a little BBTing at Sago.

Shocker of all shockers: I’m getting tired of Matcha. I hope its not all BBT.

Then off we went to Ground Zero. Just a picture fest. Take a gander at my SST pics for my Ground Zero pics. Off we went on the subway (Robert’s first time!) to Times Square, where we saw Jackie, Kristen, Kai, and some other chick I don’t remember (sorry :-)). After some Sbarro it was off to Rockefeller Center and Brookstone where we got massages from the cushy chairs. :-D

Then we realized we had had a little too much to drink during the day. Off to Sach’s Fifth we went for their niiiiiiiice bathrooms. So me and Jack were waiting for the elevator after using the bathrooms, when this guy comes out of the elevator and goes “Hi guys!” Jack turns to me and goes, “that guy looks madd familiar!”

Unable to place a name to the oh-so-familiar face, I ask one of the many camera men on the floor, “Who was that guy?” Turns out it was Deion Sanders. Which of course brought out my digital camera and a “Mr Sanders? Would you mind taking a picture with us?” Guess what the answer was:

So seeing Mr. Sanders at Sach’s Fifth kinda delayed us a bit for the Westside meeting. But we managed to get there on time. After some great food and a great meeting, we all took a group picture, which I think came out pretty well. All you westsiders, if you want a greater resolution picture (1280×960), email me. Oh yeah, that was my last Westside meeting too. Boohoo.

Check out the ill group picture!!!! :-D

And another thing, I fixed the Blue Man Group picture, Mark pointed it out to me that you have to view the picture on photo.net first for you to view it on other sites. Ha. I thought I was gonna mooch off of them. Ah well. Its pretty amazing how I got 6 comments and 9 eprops from a picture that didn’t exist :-D

Clarence | Church, Xanga | Thursday, August 15th, 2002

As the head of the blogring .:church kids (*cough*plug*cough*) I’ve been perusing some of the younger church kids’ xanga’s and (if i’m really bored) I occasionally wander to other xanga’s from there. I noticed something: all of a sudden a lot of people have beeen calling eprops “epillz” or some asian variation of it, i.e. epiLLz, or just simply pillz. I’m lost. How do you go from eprops to epillz?

Maybe I’m getting old. And un-hip. Yeah.

yO HoLLa bAk WiT sUm epiLLz…

Heh. I’m hip again.

Not really. Bah.
